Take a look inside

In Speaking Power to Truth: The Authority of Prayer and Active Strategies for Change, Colleen Saunders explores the dynamic relationship between prayer and social justice. Drawing from a lifetime of devotion to prayer and Scripture, Colleen provides insights into how spirituality empowers activism. As an educator and community organiser, her experiences reinforce the connection between prayer, social action, Word, Spirit, and justice. Through reflections rooted in Scripture and encounters with marginalised communities, she reveals how prayer connects us with God’s presence, strengthening our voices to expose injustices and advocate for the oppressed. Colleen affirms a God of justice, mercy, love, and righteous anger, addressing the struggle young Christian activists face in reconciling faith and anger. This book invites readers to explore prayer’s transformative potential and its role in partnering with God to bring His kingdom to Earth, empowering us to speak truth to power. Co-produced by The Warehouse Trust and Christian Literature Fund, it inspires positive change in the realms of prayer and social justice.
